For every closed lane
a wider avenue lies ahead.
For every barricade in the road
a smoother path awaits.
And for every blocked on-ramp
a clear exit follows.
At the Heavy Constructors Association of Greater Kansas City, we measure progress by the barrel. Specifically, orange barrels. Their guiding presence symbolizes a defining time in the Kansas City metro area’s infrastructure. Thanks to the recent approval of transportation funding in Kansas and Missouri, new avenues are available to maintain and improve our highways, byways, bridges and water systems.
What does this mean for you? As a driver, it means for every time your vehicle is at a standstill because of construction, progress is underway. We’re looking out for your best interests, while keeping our eyes on the road ahead.
All we ask is for your patience during this exciting transformation. Because when it comes to improving the city’s infrastructure, we take no short cuts, no detours, in making it better in Greater Kansas City.
